The graduation ceremony of our Faculty of Maritime Studies was held at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. During this term, our Department of Marine Engineering celebrated sending its very first graduates off into the maritime industry.

Hosted by Prof. Dr. Alper Kılıç, Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, the ceremony was attended by the following distinguished guests and institutional representatives:

The ceremony commenced with the traditional graduation march of our students. Following a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, a promotional video of our University was screened. In their speeches, Prof. Dr. Alper Kılıç, Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, and Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Vice Rector, congratulated our graduating students and wished them success in their professional careers.

Following the protocol speeches, certificates of achievement and awards were presented to high-ranking students by our Vice Rectors, protocol members, Ferit Gökdeniz on behalf of Arkas Maritime and Transport Co., our Dean, Vice Deans, and Head of the Department of Marine Engineering. After receiving their certificates, students took a collective commemorative photo with our faculty members.

The graduation ceremony concluded with the traditional cap toss. We congratulate all our students who successfully completed their education as the first graduates of the Department of Marine Engineering, and we wish them continued success in their careers and future endeavors.
