Dear Stakeholders, Esteemed Academics and Dear Young Sailors,

Universities are institutions that go beyond being mere centers of knowledge transfer. They combine the educational mission of training qualified human resources with a focus on scientific research that contributes to universal knowledge. The unshakable pillars of this structure are transforming this academic accumulation into innovation by bringing it together with industry and the economy, serving society by providing scientific solutions to its problems, and providing cultural leadership by enhancing the intellectual depth of individuals. Within our Faculty, these five fundamental missions represent a strategic course that integrates theoretical excellence in maritime with sectoral development and the "Blue Homeland" vision.

In Bandırma, the logistical heart of Türkiye and its strategic gateway to the seas, we continue on our path with the mission of training the highly qualified human resources needed by the maritime sector. As the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Maritime, we take pride in combining our academic depth with sectoral experience to contribute scientifically to the "Blue Homeland" vision.

Our Faculty has a broad spectrum of education, training, research, and social contribution encompassing all layers of maritime. We do not limit our educational vision to only the undergraduate level; through our graduate programs in Maritime Transportation Engineering, Maritime Business Administration, and Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, we are training researchers who will advance maritime science and producing academic solutions to sectoral problems.

Today, maritime is being reshaped by digitalization, autonomous systems, and the environmentally friendly "green energy" transformation. We consider it our fundamental duty to graduate our students as individuals who are prepared not only for today's but also for the technologies of the future, equipped with international standards (STCW), committed to ethical values, and respectful to maritime customs and traditions.
