The Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering aims at blending shipbuilding and marine engineering with international contemporary engineering skills. Throughout the program, it is aimed to provide students with critical thinking, communication and analytical skills.
The courses to be carried out throughout the program will provide a solid foundation for advanced learning levels that will successfully address the complex situations involved in international shipbuilding and ship machinery operations, as well as engineering activities, in the context of the basic needs and functions of shipbuilding, ship machinery and operations.

The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program includes all topics related to basic engineering. The program includes a wide range of international and national legislation and standards related to maritime safety, security, environmental protection, marine sciences, shipyard and ship management, engineering economics, maritime and nautical design, particularly in accordance with the regulations set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). and students are equipped with these subjects.
