ATTENTION NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS TO THE DEPARTMENTS OF MARITIME TRANSPORTATION AND MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING AND MARINE ENGINEERING

Dear prospective students,

Regarding the health report, which is frequently asked about every year by students placed in our department and is included in the university preference guide:

Candidates placed in our department are required to submit their "Seafarer Health Reports" during registration (by the end of working hours of the registration week) in accordance with the legislative requirements of the Seafarers and Pilots Regulation. The process to be followed to obtain this report is as follows:

1. Placed candidates must obtain their seafarer health certificates/reports from fully equipped hospitals authorized to issue health reports. When applying to hospitals for a “Health certificate/report,” it must be specifically emphasized that a “seafarer health certificate/report” is requested. Click here for the list of state hospitals authorized to issue the Seafarer Health Report. In addition to state hospitals, private hospitals can also provide this certificate/report. Information should be obtained from the relevant private hospital regarding whether they are authorized to issue this certificate/report before applying.

2. With the "Seafarer Health Report" obtained from state or private hospitals, an application must be made to the "SEAFARER HEALTH CENTERS" (also referred to as Coastal Health Inspection Centers) to obtain the "Seafarer Health Examination Certificate" (please note that the health reports obtained from hospitals may not be returned to you at some of these centers). 3. For registration to the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Maritime Faculty, candidates must APPLY IN PERSON with the "Seafarer Health Examination Certificate" received as a result of the application made to the "SEAFARER HEALTH CENTERS."
