2026-2027 Academic Year Orientation Program Held at Our Faculty

An orientation program for our new students was held in our faculty for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. During the program, which was also attended by our department heads and organized to support the adaptation process of our new students to university and faculty life, as well as to inform them about academic and administrative procedures, students were briefed on the opportunities offered by our faculty, departments, and the university.

Delivering a speech at the program, the Dean of the Maritime Faculty, Prof. Dr. Alper KILIÇ, expressed his wishes for a fruitful and successful new academic year for our students and shared his insights regarding university and faculty life. He emphasized the importance of students actively participating in university life socially and culturally, in addition to their academic development.

Within the scope of the program, students were informed about various topics they were curious about, including educational processes, academic advising, student services, university facilities, and faculty operations. The program, which contributed to students taking their first steps into university life more consciously and confidently, concluded after a Q&A session.
