Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Alper KILIÇ, met with Mr. Şelal Ufuk ERGELDİ, the Provincial Director of Balıkesir Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD).

During the meeting, where inter-institutional cooperation opportunities were evaluated, key topics such as disaster management, emergency preparedness, potential joint training and awareness projects, and regional risk analysis studies were discussed. Views were exchanged on academic and field-supported activities that could be carried out within the framework of university-public sector collaboration.
